‘The sensation of the sea… in honor of Bas Jan Ader. Desperately looking for an artist lost at sea’.

‘In search for Bas Jan Ader’ (performance held on 2 November 2018) was a commission by Mesdag Collection and Van Gogh Museum (The Hague & Amsterdam, NL) for the group exhibition ‘Sensation of the Sea’, curated by Joanna De Vos (2018). 

I install myself on a boat and drift on the water.
I constantly shout “Bas Jan Ader, Save Our Souls, S.O.S.”
