“Poppe worked (for this signpost for the toilets in Troubleyn/Laboratorium) in the tradition of the Light and Space Movement and of obscene toilet graffiti, and thereby made use of that age-old visual language: hand gestures… Two hands in red neon light up alternately. A raised middle finger alternates with the female V sign… They appear slowly, before vanishing in a flash, whereby the work momentarily disappears completely in the dark.”
