A 20-meter rope ties me to a tree stump in a large grassland.
I walk circles around the tree stump.
I hold a transparent protest sign in one hand and my donkey Grace in the other.
With each round, the rope wraps around the stump.
Our path forms a spiral.
When we reach the tree stump, we walk to unwind the rope.
We do this for three days, during the exhibition’s opening hours.

The performance ‘Walking with Grace‘ was commissioned by Kunstenlandschap.nl 2024 in collaboration with Rijksmuseum Enschede e.a. and took place in Lonneker (Enschede, NL) on May 18, 19 and 20 2024.
